Funny children

Okay, this blog is not going to be about anything but adorable children. My family had another family over for dinner today. This family we are going to call the Hills. Guess what! That's not their real name. All of the kids' names are different too. Okay, back to the stories. There are three kids and the mom is pregnant with the fourth. The oldest is Grayson and he's five. Then River is three and Zoe May is 15 months. Little sis and I got to take them downstairs and entertain them while the 'rents talked. All they wanted to do was play with the red exercise ball we have. Grayson would run around keeping the ball away from River who would yell at him, "GRAYSON!! GIVE ME THE BALL BACK!!!" Grayson would then laugh and run faster, which promted River to yell louder! River really showed her concern for her brother. When Grayson accidently bumped his head, his face scrunched up in anger and pain and he stormed out of the room and headed up the stairs. River followed after him and with an exasperated hand gesture, called "What is WRONG Grayson?"
Later, Little sis and I asked River how many sisters she had. She calmly replied, "Lots and lots." Trying to hide our giggling, we asked her to name them. River answered, "Zoe May and Newborn." She was apperently sure that the baby on the way was a girl. Little sis then asked River how many brothers she had. River thought for a moment and then answered, "5." I asked to name them too, and after thinking about it for a little bit, she sheepishly said, "Grayson, just one brother."

I got to go but I just wanted to share the little bit of happiness that entered my life today.

A healthy body

I'm not going to tell you how much I weigh. I'm going to wait until I drop 20 lbs, then I might tell the world. A girl does have some limits and this does go out into the universe, never to be taken back again.

Speaking of the world, (ps. I suck at segways), that is the topic that I am going to rant about in this blog. I think that I will stay general and then go deeper in later blogs, although I can't make any promises. You'll just have to read all the way down, haha! Oh the power I have over you! But anyway, the world. Stay on topic. The world is made up of a double standard. On the one hand, you have magazines full of celebrities that have taken out all of their fat and replaced it with plastic. On the other hand, there is a McDonalds on every street corner. I live near two cities and I can go to 6 McDonalds in under 15 mins. There is even two on the same fricken street!

But the world's biggest offense in my opinion is the fact that I can not walk into a clothing store and fit into over half of the store's clothing. I'm not talking about the total amount of clothing, but the total amount of different pieces. Most stores do not have most items in my size and some do not have any in my size. Don't the stores know that if they want to have the big girl's buisness, they should have a huge selection of clothing? I don't like shopping because it just reminds me that I'm fat and that I'm not "normal." Ugh! JCPenny does the best with the regular clothes but the worst time of the year is when I need to buy either shorts or dresses. I have found only three formal dresses in my lifetime that are actually nice quality and fit me. I will tell you about the story behind my red dress later. It is a good story!

The beginning

So. This is it. I have officially started blogging. I'm not going to make any promises' for this blog. For example, I'm not going to promise that I will blog everyday or that all the words will be spelled correctly. I'm just going to try and be as honest as I can about my life.

Honest statement #1: My life is boring

Yep. That's about it folks. My life is not filled with things that serve to excite someone who is not in my head. Often, I will say a lot of the same things over and over again because things just have not changed in my life. But I will try and write at least three or four times every week.

This blog will be an honest look into my head. Let me be the first to warn you. My head is scary. Sometimes I might say things that will surprise the person who knows me. But that is why I am starting this blog. I just want to get it out and since I am a child of the Internet, what better way than to stick it out there and see what happens. I don't expect that anyone will read this but if you are, congratulations. You found me! Yay! I don't really know how but good job! Okay, we are going to move on now.

I just realized that you probably don't know anything about me, mythical reader who stumbled upon my musings. Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Michelle. I am 18 years old. I am a girl. But hopefully you knew that already. If you didn't, then I would rather you just not read this blog. Okay, fine, you can stay. I go to collage and am majoring in biology. I hope to go to grad school and get my masters in marine biology. Yep. I like oceans and animals.

Things that I like: Books, TV, movies, driving for a long time (not riding in the car, actually driving it), the color green, boys, Youtube, funky earings, pretty pretty dresses, romance, football, swimming, just about all sports except for Nascar, hot chocolate, cell phones, food, Disney, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, music ( I will listen to anything execpt straight up gansta rap and heavy metal), dancing, and lillies.

Things that I don't like: Bad drivers, jello, cantalope, annoying people, stores that seem to think that girls only exist in size 14 or less, allergies, noses that get colds and decide to run for weeks at a time, taking medication, boring classes, friend drama, people that disagree with me and fat in my body. Hey, look at the title. You knew that it was coming up sometime. But yeah, that's what I don't like. Rest assured that you will hear more on that later.

Well, it 1:42 in the morning and I have to get up at 8:3oish so I'm going to go. I will probably be back tomorrow.
